Finished reading "Tears Of A Hustler 3" besides Pauleena I wasn't feeling this book.The entire 3 book trilogy got 79 five star reviews,this book alone got 22 five star reviews,what books where those people reading because it wasn't the same books I read.The only reason I continued reading this book till the end is because I hate to start a book & not finish it.After reading part 1,I was not feeling the story & was not looking forward to having to read parts 2 & 3.My biggest complaint about this book & the entire trilogy was the juvenile writing style of the author.I'm not hating on Silk White or spitting on his hard work but if your trying to run with the big dogs like K'wan,Wahida Clark,Treasure Blue,Deja King,J.M.Benjamin,Teri Woods,Jimmy Desaint or Shannon Holmes I expect to get my moneys worth when I purchase your product.I dont understand how this story started off with Ali & G-money running the show to Pauleena & Marvin on opposite sides of each other in a heated and deadly drug war.Something else that I didn't like about the entire trilogy,the author has a bad habit of bringing new people into the story,write about them in a few chapters & then forgets about them,he doesn't close the door on there part of the story.For example what ever happened to Frankie & the hit man he hired named Johnny,they didn't get mentioned once in this book.What's up with Lil Bit & that female C.O.named Crystal,both of whom got injured in prison,are they alive or dead?
The way this book ends there's more then enough room to continue on with this story.So many doors where left wide open that there's a possibility of a part 4 in the near future,for example Pauleena got away,Coco & Eraser Head are still alive.Now speaking of Pauleena,despite this somewhat negative review she was the real gangster in this book.Saying Pauleena was gangster with hers is an understatement,she made & carried this book.The entire story would have been 101% better if the 3 book series revolved around her instead of Ali & G-money.What she did to little Bobby & Lil Ali broke my heart but like the saying goes "Charge That To The Game"
To bring this review to a close I'll say this,there wasn't any reason for this story to be written as a trilogy because it's weak & not a very good read also the author Silk White,at this stage of his writing career & profession he still lacks the skills & talent to write a sequel much less a trilogy.I just hope he does a better job with his next book,Teflon Queen which has a sequel & might be another 3 book trilogy.

Silk White did such a good job with Tear of a Hustler Parts 1 & 2 that I couldn't wait for 3 to see how the series was going to end. I enjoyed the book but was disappointed in the direction it took. While I know happy endings are not always in order, this one flips the scripts on us and you won't know what to expect. If you think you know these characters in this book you will look at them all differently.
I have enjoyed Author Silk White's style of writing. I am four books in and will continue to look for his books in the future. It was the same style in this novel but something was really different in this one, more than just story. I don't know if there was a change in editors but the editing was the worst I've seen in this series.
Those remaining characters are back full fledge. Pauleena, Nancy and Ali, CoCo, and of course G-money. Love how he goes back to part two and gives us information. With the refresher taking us back to fight night, it's not hard to keep up. You will want to keep up because in a blink of the eye the direction of the book changes. Was this a great thing NO. The direction didn't work for me and didn't match up with the 1st two books in series. I would like to know why he changed the winning combination. I won't tell the story and ruin it for you all. I keep asking myself who are these people. It was not a complete fail; he does keep the drama and the bloodshed rolling. The game and players are changing. I'll let you be the judge if it's for the good.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaan Silk why you have to do this to me G? 😂😂😂. Man you did your thing homie. I thouroughly enjoyed myself while reading these three books. You definitely are a talented writer my G.
Now as far as the characters go........i can’t believe my boy Ali is gone man. I found myself looking up to a fictional character lmao. Nancy was so sweet and one of my favorites. Coco annoyed me so much but I still loved her lol. Skip is still living and may be the one to keep Ali’s legacy alive. I hope he and his queen can keep it up. Pauleena smh. Nancy shouldve killed that b***h. I was really starting to like Romelo and Marvin. Everybody started dropping like flies at the end forreal. Didnt care for Paco. He just came out of nowhere as a stone cold killer and then come to find out he was running for his life too. $3 Million worth of running lol. Knowledge was a clown. G-Money was my favorite after Ali and Nancy. God rest his soul lol. I wish that punk a** white dude in the prison (the leader of that gang) would gotten murked before Ali and Skip left. Poor Crystal........she sounded so fine and so sweet and genuine and Big Blood goofy a** killed her 😡😡.
Now the only ones left are Pauleena, Coco and her man and Skip and his queen. I can’t wait to see how things play out from here. Again great job homie. Keep it up and don’t stop 💯💯💯💯
This book was very good. I can't believe that all of the player s were killed off with the exception of Skip and that gangster girl. When it came down to the fight, Moonie lost. Romelo went in peace on behalf of his son and was murdered. Pack was crazy and definitely a killer. How can one kill an innocent child. Ill Ali didn't deserve to get murdered. Nancy should have taken that last shot. I wanted Ali and Nancy to get away to an island to live, not be killed together. This was a very good book, the only constructive criticism is that there were many errors in the book. Appears book was not proofread prior to being printed, still enjoyed it.
